Question for written answer to the European Commission on the implementation of the IHRA definition of antisemitism and of the Council declaration on the fight against antisemitism

Given the endorsement and adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism by both the Commission and Parliament, and with regard to the Council declaration of 6 December 2018 on the fight against antisemitism and the development of a common security approach to better protect Jewish communities and institutions in Europe:

1 How is the Commission implementing the IHRA definition of antisemitism in its interactions with civil society in both the EU and European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) countries?

2 How is it implementing the aforementioned Council declaration, especially when it comes to reinforcing the protection of Jewish communities, establishing appropriate measures to respond to hate crimes, and ensuring that Member States endorse the non-legally binding working definition of antisemitism employed by the IHRA?
